	What's new in Firmware 1.59 (for COWON A2)
	•	After completing a firmware update, new firmware version (v. 1.81E) can be confirmed via [information] under [Setup] menu. Please note that V1.81E will only be displayed properly after the A2 has been rebooted. Otherwise the version number may be displayed as "1.81C or 1.81D".

	Firmware 1.61 (for COWON A2)
	•	After completing a firmware update, new firmware version (v. 1.61E) can be confirmed via [information] under [settings] memu. Restart is recommended after a firmware update!
	•	4 firmware files are included in version 1.61. Firmware update process remains the same. Unzip firmware folder from the downloaded firmware kit, and copy it to the root folder of A2.
	•	Alphabetical extension 'E' will be appended to version number after the firmware update. It will also appear when you roll back to previous version.
	•	You will not be able to roll back to firmware v.1.54b, v.1.57, or v.1.59 from v1.61E

Improved recording efficiency: it is possible to record in 30fps. Able to display scene on LCD while recording in every mode including 640 x 480. Supports new menu style: Set up -> Display -> Appearance -> Menu Style. 	What's new in Firmware 1.49 (for COWON A2)
	- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -	MPEG1 video codec support (mpg, mpeg & dat file type extensions supported) -> Some video files may not play back correctly. We are aware of this fact and are currently in the process of increasing compatibility. Folder menu support Folder playback ; Folders can now be added to playlist ; Folder delete Press 'A' button on folder to display menu. DivX bitmap subtitle support SMIL file extension support for subtitle Quick switch mode supported while using the text viewer and movie, music or radio mode (press and hold C button) Ability to control the text viewer with the remote control [Text viewer]-[Settings (B Button)]-[Remote control] Ability to set system language independently of menu language.
