my cowon isn't working

i lost the charger so i connect it to to my laptop using usb cable, it was charging after that when i woke up i tried to turn on , nothing happen ,i thought that i didn't put the cable right,so i connect it to my pc but it didn't charge the red light didn't light up . can any one help me , i installed the last firmware 1.91.

another question i had a charger usb can i use cable of a2 and charge my cowon uing usb wall charge ,out put is (5V 1 A)

You cannot charge A2 through USB. That's why there's a separate power jack. In fact you consume battery when USB is hooked up to your pc. You'll have to get a new charger that connects to the power jack. Make sure it doesn't exceed 5.0 VDC, apparently A2 has no overvoltage protection. Ebay has OEM chargers for A2 that sells for about 10 bucks.

OK i donnu what happened i connected it to usb normally i saw the red light show up for first time, i let it to charge for a couples of hours then i transfered some files from it, then i turned off my pc ,my brother came and opened my pc and the cown start to work as a external device and it was out of charge now i can't even charge it again no red light is shown (it return to it's prevous state DEAD)

As I said, USB will not charge A2. Get an AC charger.
Note: When A2 is connected through USB the light is amber (orange), not red. Light turns red only during charging from AC adapter.

i'M STILL LOOKING FOR A SIMILAR PROBLEM THAT WHENEVER i TURN ON MY a2, ONLY X ON A COWON PICTURE

I see a Red X on a Cowon picture every time I turn it on.
